Study Abroad Medical:

By pursuing your education in the health & medical sciences overseas, you can make a difference in public health clinics, hospitals, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) all over the world. You can choose from 40+ health-related programmes where you can gain first-hand experience with global health systems. Examples include observing healthcare professionals in Botswana and learning about the health issues in Latin America in Buenos Aires. Regardless of the healthcare programme you pick, you’ll continue to move toward graduation while learning more about who you are and what you have to offer the world.

After graduating from medical school and earning their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees, physicians (surgeons) typically continue their education in medicine by completing a medical residency programme to become a medical specialist or by finishing a medical doctorate programme (medical PhD Studies) to concentrate in scientific research.

Prior to beginning residency, graduate doctors have the option of enrolling in a two-year Master’s degree to increase their knowledge in a particular area. While the majority of countries require applicants for medical residency programmes to be fluent in the local tongue, most countries also offer medical doctorate programmes abroad (also known as medical PhD Studies abroad) in English.
